The HMG™ Reactive Steel Target System is the ideal training solution for all firearm enthusiasts. Unlike a static steel target, Hill & Mac Gunworks has developed a patented system which is durable, safe and portable as well as extremely customizable. The reactive function of this system is made possible by utilizing a pivoting target face and spring mechanism. These features instantly give both auditory and visual feedback to the shooter by safely allowing the target to move and reset to its original position after each hit.
The HMG® Plate Rack attaches to the existing HMG® rifle bases and allows the shooter to engage (3) 8″ diameter targets which will auto reset after each shot. This system is attached to an HMG® elevation kit which raises the full target to approximately 40″. Great for practicing accurate shooting while adding in the extra stress of speed! Also a great for friendly range competitions with friends.

Caliber Ratings
Rifle: All center fire cartridges up to .338 Lapua **No steel core/AP ammo** **Not rated for extended use with .50 BMG/Shotgun slugs, though they will work HMG® cannot guarantee proper function without damage**
Pistol: Any rim fire/center fire pistol calibers, buck/bird shot as well. **Exception is 5.7, HMG® suggests use on a rifle target to prevent damage** **No slugs**
Minimum Safe Shooting Distance
Rifle: 50m **If shooting 5.56 in a >16″ barrel, 338 Lapua, or any other high velocity/high energy projectile minimum safe distance 150m**
Pistol: 10m
